Ambrose Alli University
Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, formerly Bendel State University was established by the then Executive Governor of Bendel State, Professor A.F. Alli. The primary objective of the University is to provide educational opportunities for the numerous youths of the then Bendel State origin who could not get places in the few Federal Universities towards the fulfillment of their educational aspiration at the tertiary level.
